SCAP (School for Car Audio Professionals) is a specialised training program designed for anyone passionate about automotive audio, installation, tuning, and electrical systems. It’s ideal for beginners, installers, technicians, and shop-owners looking to upskill or build a career in the car audio industry.
The program is divided into three modules:
-
- Module 1: Decoding the core principles of electricity and electronics that form the backbone of automotive electrical systems and modern car audio design.
- Module 2: Learning the physics of sound, its fundamentals, and how they connect to human hearing and the world of car audio.
- Module 3: Mastering installation techniques, troubleshooting methods, and the standardisation of calibration and tuning practices using SCAP’s specialised tuning tools.
Each module is 6–8 days long, with 6-hour learning sessions per day. Sessions include theory, practical training, team exercises, and Q&A. A gap of approximately 6-7 weeks between each module.
The training will be conducted in Chennai at a fully equipped training facility.
Yes. Parts of the course are hands-on, including real-world scenarios, installation exercises, and live demonstrations.
You can enroll online through the SCAP website or by contacting our admissions team. Complete the application form, upload the required documents, and pay the initial installment to confirm your seat.
Total Course Fee (All 3 Modules): ₹6,75,000 + 18% GST
This fee includes a professional tool kit worth ₹1,40,000, which is provided during Module 3.
Installment Plan:
-
- 50% before enrollment
- 25% before Module 2
- 25% before Module 3
No prior technical background is required. A strong passion for car audio, curiosity about automotive systems, and a willingness to learn are all you need. The medium of primary communication will be English.
However, for students who wish to enroll directly into Module 2 or Module 3 individually (without completing the earlier modules), screening and eligibility assessment will be mandatory.
This may include a technical interview, skills assessment, and/or proof of prior industry experience.
Admission into advanced modules will be granted only if the candidate demonstrates sufficient foundational knowledge required to successfully participate in those sessions.
Yes. We accept a limited number of students per batch to ensure maximum hands-on learning and individual attention. Only 10 students per batch will be allowed.
Yes — 100% attendance is compulsory. Due to the intensive, hands-on nature of the program and the cumulative nature of each session, every class builds on the previous one. Missing even a single session can disrupt your learning and practical understanding. Students who fail to maintain full attendance will not be eligible for assessments or certification.
There are no makeup classes or recordings provided, as the sessions are practical and cannot be replicated individually. If you are unable to attend for any reason, you will need to rejoin that module in the next available batch and complete it fully before receiving certification.
If the head trainer faces an emergency or illness, the session will be rescheduled. Students will be notified immediately, and the updated schedule will be provided. Attendance will still be mandatory for the rescheduled class.
We strongly recommend planning 1–2 buffer days around your course schedule. If you cannot stay, you can attend the same module in the next available batch at no additional tuition cost.
Each module includes a theory exam evaluation. These assessments test both your conceptual understanding and your ability to apply what you’ve learned in real-world scenarios.
If a student does not pass the assessment on their first attempt, they will be given 1-3 additional opportunities to clear it.
The re-assessment will be conducted online and schedule will be announced approximately one week after the module ends.
It will include both theory and scenario-based evaluation components.
Students must complete and pass the online re-assessment to receive their certificate.
If you fail to appear for or do not clear the online re-assessment 3 times, you will need to rejoin that specific module in the next available batch, and the tuition fee will be applicable — correct and successfully complete the assessments again before certification can be issued.
Important: The re-assessment is designed as a second chance — not a substitute for full participation. Consistent attention during class and 100% attendance remain essential for successful course completion.
Yes. Upon completing all three modules, maintaining 100% attendance, and successfully passing all assessments, you will receive an official SCAP Certification. This certification recognises you as a qualified automotive audio professional trained to industry standards.
SCAP certification is highly respected across the automotive audio and aftermarket industry. It serves as a strong credential whether you plan to:
-
- Start your own Store, installation or tuning business
- Join premium audio brands, dealerships, or integrators
- Offer specialised consultancy or custom audio design services
- Do better sales with confidence and deep knowledge on subject specialisation
